This year we have selected two charities to receive the money raised at Baseball with Brevin. Both are near and dear to our hearts. Blind Babies Foundation directly impacted Brevin's life with home visits and therapy sessions and B.O.K Ranch provides equine assisted activities and therapy that we were hoping to start with Brevin when the time was right.

Don't forget to check with your company about a Matching Program.  Many companies are now offering matching programs and it is a great way to increase your monetary donation.  Please check it out.

Blind Babies Foundation (BBF) has been providing critical early intervention and education services to infants and preschoolers who are blind or visually impaired for more than 58 years. Their family-centered services are provided in the home environment and encourage every child’s development to the fullest degree possible with careful attention to their individual abilities and needs. These intensive services can help to stimulate and enhance available vision, often preventing a further decline of visual acuity or total vision loss. As soon as a visual impairment is detected, BBF is there to help families move from crisis to understanding and self-sufficiency.

Through the Off to a Good Start program, our Vision Impairment Specialists help nearly 500 children each year in 14 central and northern California counties at no cost to families.  BBF provides services to children under six years of age who have a visual impairment regardless of economic status, ethnicity, gender, country of origin or any other criteria.

B.O.K. Ranch - Equine Assisted Activities

Therapeutic horseback riding allows students with physical, cognitive, emotional, and/or developmental disabilities to develop physical strength, balance, control, self-confidence, and self-esteem. At B.O.K. Ranch, students focus not on a limitation, but on an ability. They interact with our wonderful horses, staff, and volunteers, and the results are extraordinary.

B.O.K. Ranch is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Our facility includes large all weather outdoor arenas, turnout pastures, a cross country course, and access to miles of trails. We have been accredited since 1985 by the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA), and all of our instructors are NARHA certified. We maintain our status as a NARHA Premier Accredited Center, meaning we meet the highest standards for health and safety to promote the well-being of all our participants and horses.
