We are getting ready for another Baseball with Brevin but want to share some information from BwB 2008.

Last year’s BwB was another success: there were 100 attendees who came to our sunny tailgate spot in Lot D, outbid each other for some great auction items and weekends away and then we were off to the game.

Our orange shirts really caught the attention of other game goers as well as the media. Comcast SportsNet saw our group from afar and sent Amy G. to learn more about us.  Amy interviewed Megan and it was seen live during the game coverage. Very exciting!

After the event we looked through our pictures and tallied the money raised; once again we realized how honored we are to have you as part of Brevin’s extended family.  Your generosity came in many different forms and helped to raise over $11,000!  This was made possible by the items you donated for auction and raffle, by your generous auction bids and by your financial donations.  We would like to say thank you to all those who contributed:

Susan and Michael Klopka, Summitvine Ranch, Calistoga
Gene and Vilma Sinclair & Bill and Annie Eliopolous, Santa Cruz Bean House

Michele and Frank Mandarino & Linda and Tyler Williams, Italian Night

Quickstad and Saunders Families, Wine Tasting Weekend in San Luis Obispo
Linda and Jim Dreyer, Camp Mariposa Weekend, Serene Lakes

Jim Newman, Opus One wine

SF Giants and Bill Cotton, Main Cain ball, Tickets for 4, Batting Practice jersey
Dean Family, Tickets for 4 for Giants game

Rafle items donated by McCabe Family, Jim Newman, Romantiques

All of this helped us to help NOCK in Brevin’s name – we know that Brevin is very proud of us.

NOCK, the National Organization Caring for Kids - is a charity we likely would have utilized if Brevin had lived a longer life as they specialize in devices to help chronically ill kids to walk and talk.

The fifth annual Baseball with Brevin is right around the corner.  We have already secured 100 tickets for May 31st, 2009 vs. the St. Louis Cardinals.  While we have grown the number of attendees in previous years, we are keeping the invite list to 100 again this year.  One main reason we host this event is because we want to spend time with you; we want to ensure we don’t lose sight of our purpose.

We look forward to seeing you this year so please let us know if we can reserve a space for you by filling out the form at Event and Ticket Reservations.

Thanks again for helping us to make Baseball with Brevin 2008 fun event.
